Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Solar Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of commercial solar PV systems, ensuring all work meets RevoluSun’s quality standards and complies with relevant codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install electrical service equipment, wiring, and devices required for commercial solar PV systems.
• Assist with battery storage installations, system commissioning, and monitoring setup
• Ensure all electrical work complies with the current National Electrical Code and other relevant local codes.
• Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues.
• Work with local inspectors to meet and satisfy local requirements and expectations.
• Train, mentor, and develop apprentices.
• Test electrical systems to ensure compatibility and safety.

Qualifications:

• Active Hawaiʻi Journeyman Electrician license.
• 5+ years of residential or commercial electrical experience.
• Experience installing and stringing electrical cable or wiring.
• Experience installing electrical apparatus and executing terminations and AC tie-ins.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
• Strong attention to detail while producing accurate and high-quality work.
• Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding.
• Ability to bend conduit.
• Understanding of string configuration.
• Ability to complete voltage drop calculations and be familiar with amperage ratings as they relate to sizing wiring.

Preferred Qualifications:

• NABCEP certification or PV installation experience
• Familiarity with Enphase, SolarEdge, SMA or Tesla Powerwall systems

Compensation: $20+/hr DOE
