HVAC Helper Installer

The HVAC Helper Installer is responsible for assisting the AC Service Technician / Installer with the installation, maintenance, and repair of Mitsubishi split air-conditioning equipment and related systems. This is an entry-level role perfect for those eager to gain hands-on experience and develop a career in the HVAC and renewable energy industries. The ideal candidate is motivated, a quick learner, and a team player aligned with our core values.

Key Responsibilities:
Under the direction and guidance of the AC Service Technician / Installer, the HVAC Helper Installer will perform tasks such as:

• Assisting with installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning units.
• Handling tools, materials, and supplies to support the technician.
• Helping with ventilation equipment adjustments and monitoring controls for continuous, efficient operation.
• Learning to diagnose basic electrical and mechanical issues.
• Cleaning and preparing areas and equipment as directed, including coils, blowers, and filters.
• Assisting in lifting, positioning, and securing materials and equipment.
• Following safety protocols, assisting with job site cleanup, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Requirements:

• Willingness to work in environments exposed to dust, fumes, noise, high-voltage equipment, and confined spaces such as attics and crawl ways.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Capable of lifting, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems or mechanical/electrical skills is a plus but not required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Interest in the solar and renewable energy industry.
