Position Overview:
We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Residential Solar Technician to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of rooftop solar PV systems, battery systems, and energy-related home equipment. Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot residential photovoltaic (PV) systems with precision, safety, and care
• Assist with battery storage installations, system commissioning, and monitoring setup
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot existing systems as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe job site, following all safety protocols and PPE requirements
• Communicate clearly with project managers, electricians, and homeowners
• Provide outstanding customer service during and after installation
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
• Document work and update system records via mobile applications or internal software

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ year experience in construction, roofing, or electrical work 
• Comfortable working on roofs and in outdoor environments
• Basic electrical knowledge and use of hand/power tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• NABCEP certification or PV installation experience
• Familiarity with Enphase, SolarEdge, or Tesla Powerwall systems

Compensation: $20+/hr DOE
