Joshua F. Powell, AIA, CEO and founding partner of RevoluSun LLC (RevoluSun Smart Home). Leading operations in Hawaii and Idaho, he has served as the Responsible Managing Employee (RME) for all of the company’s business since 2009.

With a career spanning the renewable energy industry since 2007, Josh’s leadership has been instrumental in scaling RevoluSun in response to industry growth and evolving utility challenges. In 2018, he expanded the company’s reach by launching RevoluSun Mountain States in Boise, Idaho, focusing on micro-grid energy systems in the Pacific Northwest.

Under Josh’s guidance, RevoluSun earned the reputation of being Hawaii’s most trusted Solar + Battery installer, building relationships with many of Hawaii’s most recognized local institutions. These relationships, along with his expertise as an efficient operator, has RevoluSun ranking as the top producing solar contractor in the State and ranking in the top 100 of National solar contractors for numerous years.

Josh’s extensive experience in all phases of operations, has led him to create valuable relationships with the brightest minds in the solar industry. Widely respected, he leverages these relationships to bring in critical resources to continue to oversee the construction of Project Empower initiatives.
