Accountant
We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced construction Accountant to join our team.
Core Responsibilites
- Full charge bookkeeping (AP, AR, GL, Payroll, Inventory)
- Prepare financial and job costing reports
- Prepare supporting schedules and reconcile general ledger
- Special projects as needed
Skills and Experience
- Prior construction industry accounting experience desirable
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software (Timberline or comparable)
- Understand job costing, accounting cycles, cash flow management, GAAP
- MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Positive team player, level-headed, motivated and hard working
Education
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- Three + years in progressive accounting positions desired but not essential
