Painter/Carpenter

Painter Responsibilities

• Preparing painting surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes, or removing old paint
• Mixing, matching, and applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces
• Providing decorative and faux finishes as the project requires
• Preparing the surrounding area by covering with cloth or plastic to prevent messes
• Handling planning and prep work in an efficient manner
• Communicating with clients to ensure they’re getting the look they’re hoping for
• Flexible schedule / ability to work weekends required
• Reliable transportation and own tools required

Drywall/Carpenter Responsibilities

• Drywall patching; tape, mud, sand and painting
• Mounting 3/4″ plywood backer boards on home exterior for hanging electrical & batteries
• Additional custom carpentry as needed
• May need to join PV installation crew as needed and be comfortable working on a roof
• Flexible schedule / ability to work weekends required
• Reliable transportation and own tools required

To be considered for this opportunity you must be able to:

• Climb ladders to get on a roof
• Work on roofs for 4-6 hours a day
• Ability to bend conduit is a plus

You must also possess the following experience:

• 1+ year experience working on a roof
• 1+ year working in the construction industry
• Electrical experience is a plus
• PV experience is a plus

Other requirements:

• Must have a valid HI Driver’s License
• Must pass a Motor Vehicle Report (no DUIs in the last 7 years)
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
